LM15
LM15

LM15 is a non-contact high-speed linear magnetic encoder. The system consists of a compact, sealed measuring head that moves above the magnetic self-adhesive scale with clearance up to 4 mm and can have a measurement range up to 100 m.

The advantage of the system is a simple installation. The reading head of the LM15 encoder has a built-in LED indicator for the correct position and serviceability of the sensor. The system is characterized by wide tolerances for installation. Special equipment for installing self-adhesive magnetic tape greatly simplifies the installation process.

The movement in two directions is provided by the activation of the reference mark integrated into the scale or the reference marks integrated into the scale every 5 mm. The sensors are available in various versions with digital output signals and are offered to customers in a wide range of resolutions of 5 μm, 10 μm, 25 μm, 50 μm, 125 μm and 625 μm.

The LM15 can travel at speeds up to 50 m/s. Even with a resolution of 25 microns, it is able to control the movement at a speed of more than 42 m/s.

Designed for harsh environments, the all-piece design of the LM15 linear displacement sensors allows to work in operating temperature ranges from -10 to +80 ° C and has a degree of protection - IP68, which are highly resistant to shock, vibration and pressure. A strong magnetic scale is resistant to chemicals used in various industries. Non-contact reading LM15 ensures the absence of friction and wear of the components of the measuring system, mechanical hysteresis, and also provides the necessary accuracy at high speeds and accelerations.

The LM15 sensors are reliable solution for the use of encoders in harsh, hard operating conditions, including processes and industries such as woodworking, stone cutting, sawing, metalworking, textiles, packaging, plastics processing, automation and assembly systems, laser / plasma / waterjet cutting , electronic assembly equipment, etc.

For situations in which it is necessary to easily dismantle the MS scale, the TRS track system is used.
