The TONiC UHV series are encoder systems that provide exceptionally reliable feedback on position in ultrahigh vacuum conditions!

Renishaw offers a wide range of linear/angular displacement measuring systems with high resolution (up to 10 nm).

The success of the Renishaw displacement measuring systems is due to the use of a fundamentally new open optical scheme. This design provides excellent metrological characteristics and high resolution. The scale, which is a flexible gold-plated tape, is supplied in rolls up to 70 m long and can be cut into pieces corresponding to the length of the machine axes or CMM. Having a special self-adhesive base frees you from having to drill holes and cut the threads. All readers have a patented adjustment indicator, which now allows you to get rid of oscilloscopes and other complex tuning systems.

The system is resistant to the effects of pollution such as dust and light oils, and produces a steady signal even in the presence of small scratches.

  • RG2 series are linear displacement sensors, with a resolution of 5 μm to 10 nm;
  • The RG4 series are linear displacement sensors, with a resolution of 10 μm to 0.1 μm;
  • Planar position transmitter RGX- easy to configure XY-sensor;
  • Rotating position transmitter RESR - high accuracy ((+ -) 2.5 arc seconds) and low section profile;
  • Magnetic rotary motion sensors - Renishaw 2004 novelty - high-precision compact sensors with a resolution of up to 12 bits (4096 pos / revolutions), with a maximum rotation speed of up to 30,000 rpm.
  • Fiber optic laser position transmitter RLE10 - is an interferometric system with a unique method of beam transmission over optical fibers and an integrated detector head. Designed for manufacturers of high-precision products, provides digital feedback with a resolution of up to 10 nm and an analog output.
  • Accessories for position sensors - interpolator units, digital indicating devices, scale scribers, extension cables, special order products, check marks and limit switches.
