Microwave level switches

Measuring system composed of a microwave transmitter and receiver. The 24 GHz signal is transmitted through the antenna system to the receiver. Passing through the measured environ the signal attenuates. Receiver attenuation is recorded and converted into a switching signal. The sensor can be configured in order the measured environment and local conditions. Microwaves are able to penetrate non-conductive materials. This means: with containers made of plastic or glass it is possible to measure right through the container walls.
