Magnetic linear sensor LM10

Standard solution for non-contact measurements of linear movements for use in harsh environments

Magnetic absolute linear sensor LMA10

Production:
Renishaw (United Kingdom)
Magnetic absolute linear sensor LMA10

LMA10 is an absolute magnetic linear encoder that is designed for use in the field of motor control, both for position monitoring and for controlling the speed of an element, providing a feedback loop. The design of the encoder ensures a very low system inertia and response time, which makes the system ideal for applications in highly dynamic control cycles!

Magnetic linear sensor LM13

Renishaw (United Kingdom)
Magnetic linear sensor LM13

The compact dimensions and features of the internal design of the LM13 sensor allow it to be used in mechanisms with a curved magnetic tape. Self-adhesive magnetic tape can be installed on a surface with a bending radius of 60 mm or more!

Magnetic linear sensor LM13 with DPI

LinACE ™ absolute linear encoder

The LinACE ™ InAxis ™ linear encoder system on the shaft is specifically designed for integration into hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical drives as a feedback element in position or speed in closed loop systems.

How it works.

The operation of the system is based on the use of a differential magnetoresistive sensor, by means of which a magnetic field gradient over a magnetized scale is recorded; in the process of displacement of the sensor along the scale, a sinusoidal or cosine signal is generated. Later, by means of built-in electronics, these analog signals are interpolated to achieve resolution up to 1 μm. As a magnetic scale, a steel strip 1.5 mm thick wich is magnetized with a certain interval. The displacement speed of the measuring head with the built-in sensor depends on the required measurement accuracy and the frequency with which it is necessary to obtain data and can vary from 0.13 to 25 m/s. The system has digital and analog outputs according to industry standards for reading data.
