Pressure transmitters measure the pressure of liquids, gases and steam in pipes or closed vessels. The pressure of the measured medium acts on the sensitive element of the pressure sensor, which converts it into an output electrical signal. VEGABAR pressure transmitters are available with a variety of process connections and output signals. VEGABAR series 80 pressure transmitters can also be used as hydrostatic level gauges.
VEGA process pressure transmitters are ideal for measuring relative or absolute pressure in conditions of condensation or sudden changes in temperature.
