Thermocouple type TC80
- Production:
- WIKA (Germany)
TC80 series Thermocouples are designed for measuring extreme high temperatures and comply with DIN EN 50 446. The thermoelectric wires of the thermocouple held within the protective sleeve through the capillary hole of the ceramic insulation. The protective sleeve is made of heat resistant steel or ceramic and may have additional inner tube. Its purpose is to protect the thermocouple from mechanical and chemical influences of the measured and the environment.
As an additional option, the thermocouple can be equipped with a built-in secondary Converter. One of the advantages of the built-in Converter is increased reliability of signal transmission. For the communication line between the Converter and the display device and measurement information processing is a conventional copper cable, not a special thermocouple compensation wire. All the secondary temperature transmitters WIKA implemented temperature compensation cold junction.
